2017-18

This was the third season of Nike kits. Allsopp & Allsopp were front of shirt sponsors for the fourth season, and MidRepro were back of shirt sponsors for the fifth season. G&R Scaffolding (home) and XL Motors (away) were shorts sponsors for the second season.
The font and numbers were unchanged, but following relegation City wore League Two sleeve patches on both sleeves.
A new FA Cup patch was introduced and worn on both sleeves in that competition. A Play-Off specific patch was worn on the right sleeve for the Play-Off final, and a gambling awareness patch on the left.

The home kit was all sky blue with white trim and numberset. It was a simple v-neck design and chosen after feedback from supporters. The kit was announced on 30 June 2017 and was available to buy from 1 July 2017.

City wore a poppy on their shirts for the home game with Mansfield Town on 11 November.

The goalkeeper kit was the same as last season’s keeper outfit – all green design, with circular hooped design on the sleeves in black.

For the Play-Off final Lee Burge wore a short sleeved version of the keeper shirt with text on the chest marking the occasion.

The away kit was a grey shirt with darker grey sleeves, white shorts and black socks – it was the same template as the home kit. The numberset was in white. The kit was announced on 30 June 2017 and was available to buy from 28 July 2017.

For the FA Cup 5th Round tie at Brighton on 17 February 2018, City wore the away kit but with black shorts.
For the away game at Wycombe Wanderers on 27 February 2018, City wore the away kit but with white socks.

The away goalkeeper kit was all orange, the shirt had darker orange sleeves and was the same template as the home kit.

A third kit was worn for the Play-Off final, it was the same template as the home kit but the shirt was a striped sky blue and white design with sky blue sleeves. The shirt had Play-Off specific patches which were worn on the right arm with a gambling awareness patch on the left and had text on the chest marking the occasion.
