Coventry City 4th | Halifax Town 24th (24)
Record £21,000 signing Hudson has a dream start as City rip Town apart in the first half. His finishing is deadly and Bruck’s screamer is the icing on the cake. Six lack-a-daisical minutes costs City dear before Whitehouse steadies the ship. Town’s late fight almost gets them a point.
