Coventry City 4th | Millwall 16th (24)

Millwall play well above their station and the score flatters the Sky Blues. Hudson’s early ice-cool goal is enough until John’s vain attempt to keep a Hudson shot out near the end. Ernie Machin has a quietly impressive debut but Wesson is the star who keeps the sprightly visitors out.
