Coventry City 11th | Shrewsbury Town 18th (24)

On a dreadful muddy surface City find their shooting boots and are rewarded for their attacking prowess. Lots of help from a dodgy keeper, at fault for three goals. Kearns’ 30-yard drive is the best goal and Dwight has a big hand in the own-goal. Veteran Rowley is given stick by fans.
