A blood and thunder cup-tie with two fine young keepers to the fore. 19-year-old David Best and 22-year-old Bob Wesson pull of numerous great saves. Whitehouse whips in to score from a back-pass. The Cherries fight to the end and Wesson’s clawing leap stops Singer’s stinger.
