First Div 1 win over West Ham. Hurst’s penalty, for a push by Barry on Peters, is his 154th goal, a post-war West Ham record. Two goals from Martin – the second a strong header – take the deserved points. Eustace’s late ‘goal’ was given as offside. Upton Park resorts to slow handclaps.
