The Yorkshire born forward was signed from Second Division Rotherham by Harry Warren in June 1956. Little is known of a player who played only eight games for both Rotherham and City. He was a fringe player who got a chance at half-back when Noel Simpson left for Exeter but after a handful of games he was back in the reserves and was released in the summer of 1957. He later played for Bath City in the Southern League.
