Big Ron gets a tumultuous reception from the Villa fans but the game doesn’t live up to the hype. Villa force the pace, especially after half-time, but lack the cutting edge against City’s solid defence. Paul McGrath is awesome and Ndlovu, as usual, gets little change out of him.
