Noel Cantwell game #
Sunderland 15th | Coventry City 11th (22)

A forgettable game against Alan Brown’s team, who look relegation favourites. Willie Carr plays up front and Clements has City’s best chance which Montgomery saves. Ashurst slices a header over his own bar. Glazier is mostly idle. Joe Baker and Harris look shadows of themselves.
