Trevor joined City straight from school, following his brother Bobby to the club. A midfield player, capable of playing up front, he was a member of the FA Youth Cup final side in 1968 and after an injury to the goalkeeper he donned the keeper’s jersey in the final. Noel Cantwell gave him his debut at the start of the 1969-70 season and although he was a squad member all season his appearances were limited in a strong team. In 1970 he joined Northampton where he was a regular in their Fourth Division side for three years. He later played for Bedford Town and Rushden Town before managing Aylesbury United. In 1992 when brother Bobby took over as City manager Trevor came back to Highfield Road as youth team coach.
