Bobby Graham was Noel Cantwell’s last signing for the Sky Blues just days before the manager was sacked, signed for £70,000 from Liverpool. In ten years at Anfield Graham, a nimble striker, made over 100 appearances and in 1969-70 scored 21 goals. Unfortunately he never really fitted in at Coventry in a period of transition and after a loan period at Tranmere he left to join his home town club in September 1973 and was in the ‘Well side that knocked City out of the Texaco Cup. He played on in Scotland until the age of 37 with ‘Well & Hamilton.
