Coventry City 15th | Manchester City 21st (22)
A rip-roaring game which City look to have thrown away. Stein sets up Carr then scores great header from Mortimer’s cross. Sloppy defending let Man City score twice. Alderson wins it with a header from Coop’s cross. Hutchison has super debut and Book is booked for fouling him.
