The six foot four inch player was signed on loan by Micky Adams soon after he took over as City boss in early 2005. He played in midfield at Newcastle in the FA Cup and two weeks later started as a striker against Burnley. After a less than impressive first half he did not reappear for the second half and returned to Manchester City soon afterwards with a thigh injury.

The French midfielder was playing in Belgium for Charleroi when Kevin Keegan signed him for Manchester City for £1.5 million in 2001. His career at Maine Road never got off the ground; in his second game his ‘punched’ goal at Rotherham was allowed to stand and in his third game he was sent off for two yellow cards before half time. He never started a league game for the Blues again.

In 2005 he was released by Man City and joined Standard Liege and has subsequently played for Aalesund in Norway and FC Brussels.
