A striker who scored prolifically in City's youth team but failed to make the Premiership grade. His single first team appearance was an hour as a substitute at Middlesbrough's Riverside stadium in 1995. After loans at Swansea and Wigan he left Highfield Road for Cambridge United in 1996 and later had brief spells at Rushden and Doncaster. He later plied his trade in his home area of East Yorkshire with various teams and is a trained social worker. Post-retirement, he transitioned into coaching, becoming a leading coach at Bishop Burton College.
