EFL League Two Team of the Season 2017-18
2018 League Two Play Off winner
Lee came through the academy and finally made the keeper spot his own when Joe Murphy left the club after acting as back up him for many games. He was keeper as City bottomed out under SISU being relegated to League Two and then helping them out of that league and the subsequent bounce back when Mark Robins took over. He left on the expiration of his contract to Sunderland and City recruited Marko Marosi, leaving before City's return to the Championship. He never really established himself as Sunderland's first choice and left in June 2022 to join Northampton Town.
