Game #3037 | League Cup game #99
Season game #18 | Cup game #4
Highfield Road # | Terry Butcher game #
Coventry City 16th in Division One | Nottingham Forest 10th in Division One
City are four up after 35 minutes and Forest fans are exiting the ground. Clough scores a seven-minute hat-trick and it’s anyone’s game. At 4-4 City lift themselves again and Livingstone pounces to defeat the holders of the last two years and give Butcher his first win. Breathtaking stuff.
