Frank Reeve came to City on trial from Rugby Town. He was selected for the first team in 2 consecutive matches, but disappointed at both inside left and outside right, in the defeats against Merthyr and Walsall. He was given a free transfer, but only played for Walsall once, in a 1-7 defeat at Millwall.
